International trade and logistics operator VAVS (Ulyanovsk) provides training in foreign economic activity (FEA) and internships in the field of international trade and logistics. The best graduates are admitted to the staff.

The Goal of the program is the training of highly qualified specialists, future personnel, familiarization with the intricacies of current legislation and regulations.

Duration of training – 6 weeks.

The authors and teachers are current VAVS employees in the field of cross-border trade and logistics.

Program content – thematic lectures, tests, practical classes, on-site lectures at existing enterprises, introduction to the practice of supply planning and purchasing goods.

The result of the program is the acquisition of new knowledge and the ability to apply skills in the field of procurement, logistics and cargo transportation.

Why do we train students in foreign economic activity?

A ready-made, certified specialist who can immediately integrate into the work process and begin his duties is the dream of every company director and HR employee. Everyone who got a job heard the phrase from their boss: “forget what you were taught at the university, college, vocational school and other institutions.” Unfortunately, this is due to the lag of the norms and fundamentals of classical education from the dynamic, constantly changing situation in the country and the world. This is especially true in the sphere of international transportation, foreign trade activities, logistics, customs clearance of goods, accounting, and work with foreign exchange payments.

Main course modules

1. PLANNING AND PROCUREMENT

The basics of rational procurement planning in manufacturing and trading companies, the features of attracting customers and the intricacies of purchasing goods in the Russian Federation, the EU, Turkey, and China.

2. PAYMENT FOR GOODS AND ACCOUNTING OF OPERATIONS

Accounting, tax accounting, currency exchange, spreads, calculation of the total cost of bank transfers through various countries and currency systems.

3. TRANSPORTATION AND FORWARDING

Information about working with various types of transport, cargo consolidation, forwarding. Having mastered this module, students will be able to independently calculate the route and cost of transportation, and choose the appropriate delivery method.

4. CUSTOMS CLEARANCE AND CUSTOMS CONTROL

Codes of goods in accordance with the commodity nomenclature (HS), determination of necessary conditions and restrictions for the import and export of goods, rights and responsibilities of customs authorities.

5. LEGAL FRAMEWORK AND WORK WITH CONTRACTS

Familiarity with the intricacies of working with customers and counterparties, defining what a contract is, how to check a counterparty before concluding an agreement, what risks exist in international logistics and how they are reflected when drawing up contracts.
