VAVS took part in a conference on business with China

On November 22, Ulyanovsk State University hosted an online conference “Features of doing business and finding business partners in China”.
The event took place within the framework of the Russian-Chinese Youth Business Accelerator and gathered more than 500 young current and future entrepreneurs interested in working in foreign markets and with Chinese partners.

The key speaker was Ruslan Zhakhin, Commercial Director of VAVS, who shared valuable practical experience and recommendations on how to interact with Chinese partners.

Main topics of the presentation:

1.Export directions to China:
Russia supplies oil, gas, timber, minerals, metals, agricultural products, and unique high-tech goods, including products for the nuclear industry.
2. Exports of services:
Ruslan Zhakhin said that exports include not only goods but also services. In particular, VAVS provides temporary storage warehouse (TSW) services to Chinese clients in Russia.
3. Searching for partners through exhibitions:
Participation in specialized exhibitions in Russia and China allows you to assess the reliability of partners and avoid cooperation with intermediaries, who often inflate prices and do not provide guarantees.
4.Long-term relations with Chinese partners:
Success is only possible with long-term cooperation. One-time deals, on the other hand, can be risky.
5.Education in the field of foreign trade:
The level of training of specialists at universities often does not meet the real requirements of the market. VAVS has created a school of foreign economic activity, where graduates receive practical knowledge adapted to business processes.

The conference became an important platform for discussing topical issues and sharing experience. The participants noted that such events contribute to the development of international cooperation, especially in the context of increased interaction with China.
